Unisys
Caseware is one of Canada's original Fintech companies, having led the global audit and accounting software industry for over 30 years, with more than 500,000 users across 130 countries and products available in 16 different languages.
While you might not have heard of us (yet), over 36,000 accounting and audit professionals list Caseware as a skill on their LinkedIn profiles!
As a Senior Software Developer III, you will operate as a technical leader within your team and across the broader engineering organization.
This is an AI-first role: you're expected to lead by example in using agentic-AI tools as the default way of getting work done, not as a bolt-on.
You will shape architecture and design, raise the bar on engineering quality, and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate technical decisions into business value.
You will primarily work across our cloud platform and architecture, with the versatility to step into a legacy native Windows codebase when refactoring or security work is required. You should be equally comfortable guiding agentic-AI tools to deliver code, reviewing designs, and influencing how the platform evolves.
Location: Fully remote — Colombia
Languages & Frameworks: Java 25, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud Gateway
Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS (S3, Secrets Manager, Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, EKS, etc.), CloudFormation, Terraform, Kubernetes/Istio, AWS CDK
Data: AWS DocumentDB, PostgreSQL, S3
Testing & Observability: JUnit, New Relic
Tooling: Jira, Devin, Claude, GitHub
Legacy Exposure: Native Windows (C++, .NET Framework, MSBuild) for security and refactoring work
