Job Description

atNorth is a leading Nordic data center company providing cost-effective, scalable high-density colocation and built-to-suit services to industry-leading organizations across Iceland, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark.

With sustainability at our core, our data centers run on renewable energy and are designed according to circular economy principles. Through innovative design, power efficiency, and intelligent operations, we deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance infrastructure.

Headquartered in Reykjavik, Iceland, atNorth operates eight data centers across the Nordics, with additional sites under development in Finland, Denmark, and Sweden.

We combine world-class technology with a people-first culture built on collaboration, ownership, and trust, empowering our teams to grow, take responsibility, and make a real impact.

By joining our international team, you will help shape the future of sustainable digital infrastructure.

Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for delivering complex security solutions in mission-critical environments? As a Security Delivery Project Manager at atNorth, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of physical security systems and infrastructure across our growing portfolio of data center projects throughout the Nordics.

Working closely with Security, Design, Delivery, Construction, IT, Operations, Customer Implementation teams, and external partners, you will ensure that security requirements are embedded from concept through to commissioning and handover. You will be responsible for driving project execution, managing stakeholders, mitigating risks, and ensuring all security deliverables meet atNorth standards, customer requirements, and project timelines.

As a trusted delivery partner, you will coordinate consultants, contractors, vendors, and system integrators to ensure security solutions are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution

  • Lead the delivery of physical security solutions across new data center builds, expansions, and upgrade projects.

  • Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful delivery.

  • Ensure security requirements are embedded into project designs and aligned with customer, operational, and business requirements.

  • Coordinate closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, vendors, and system integrators throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Oversee installation activities, quality assurance processes, and issue resolution to ensure compliance with approved standards and designs.

Commissioning, Handover & Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, system validation, and acceptance activities for physical security systems.

  • Ensure all documentation, training records, as-built drawings, and handover packages are completed and maintained.

  • Support operational readiness by ensuring a smooth transition of security systems to operational teams and site stakeholders.

  • Monitor project risks, design gaps, quality concerns, and change requests, driving timely resolution and escalation when required.

  • Provide regular reporting, progress updates, and decision support to project stakeholders and leadership teams.

Your Profile

  • 7+ years of experience managing security, construction, infrastructure, or technology projects in complex environments.

  • Strong experience delivering physical security systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, alarm monitoring, and related infrastructure.

  • Proven project management expertise in planning, scheduling, dependency management, risk management, quality assurance, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Experience working with consultants, EPCM organizations, contractors, system integrators, and specialist security vendors.

  • Strong understanding of security design reviews, commissioning processes, operational readiness, and project governance.

  • Experience within data centers, critical infrastructure, industrial facilities, construction, or other high-availability environments is highly desirable.

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-SP, PSP, CPP, or equivalent are considered an advantage.

  • Fluency in English is required. One or more Nordic languages is considered an advantage.
