Cybersecurity Co-Founder / Head of Growth (100 % remote) (m/f/d)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Security Engineer to join a forward-thinking technology team within a rapidly scaling enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust cloud security solutions across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments.

Job Responsibilities

Design and implement cloud security architecture and controls in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Lead cloud security assessments and support vulnerability remediation.
Automate security tools and processes using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices.
Manage IAM, encryption, firewalls, and compliance policies.
Work closely with DevOps and Engineering teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor cloud environments using SIEM and cloud-native tools.
Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and other standards.

Requirements

Required Skills

Proven experience with AWS and/or Azure security services (e.g., IAM, KMS, WAF, Security Center)

Knowledge of security best practices for cloud infrastructure and application development

Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation

Strong understanding of network and container security (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)

Experience with vulnerability management tools and SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel)

Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

Desired Skills

Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer Associate)
Familiarity with SOC2, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks
Experience with zero trust architecture and SASE models
Understanding of DevSecOps tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Checkov)
